Ranking Ty Lue’s best coaching performances this season
Ty Lue was dealt one helluva hand heading into the 2021-22 NBA season. For whatever reason, the possibility of Kawhi Leonard returning from his torn ACL was dangled in front of not only Lue’s face but also the fans.
Each and every day, Clipper faithful would check the injury report – hoping and praying that Leonard would be given the green light to return. Although almost little to nothing changed, the likes of Skip Bayless and other NBA prognosticators didn’t help matters with their routine shtick of keeping a Leonard return alive.
Still, even without their stoic offensive and defensive leader, and despite Paul George being sidelined for 51 games due to a long list of injuries, Lue did a masterful job coaching up the players he had available to him.
In totality, Lue has a lot to be proud but what were his best and most standout coaching performances of the year? Let’s dive into it.
