3. Marcus Morris Sr.

Marcus Morris has always been a solid player throughout the course of his career. During his brief half-season in New York, however, he was terrific. Morris averaged 19.6 points during that 2019-20 season before being shipped off to the LA Clippers.

So far, Morris has been solid playing behind both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, averaging 13.7 points in his two and a half seasons there. While decent, Morris’s scoring output of 15.4 points per game should be taken with a grain of salt last season, since Leonard missed the entire season and George missed 51 games in his own right.

At full strength, Morris has proven that he can be a decent third option, similar to his second season in LA. Morris averaged 13.4 points on 47.3% shooting from behind the arc. In order to take the next step, Morris cannot be the Clippers’ third-best player on offense. Simply put, he should thrive with even less of an offensive burden on his plate.
