Phoenix Suns: Deandre Ayton

Stats: 17.2 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 63.4 fg%

Deandre Ayton has been everything you could ask for in a former number one overall pick. His hands around the basket are perfect, great footwork, and he even has a bit of that modern flair to his game, being able to knock down shots from about 15 feet.

The problem, which isn’t his fault, is that Ayton came out in the same draft as Luka Doncic and Trae Young, both of whom are considered miles ahead of him. That aside, Ayton is a major piece on a championship contending Phoenix Suns team.

Averages of 17.2 points and 10.2 boards tell us that Ayton is doing something right. If only he were a bit more stout on the defensive end.
