On the brink of elimination, Clipper Nation grew apoplectic as their LA squad lost another one at home to the Dallas Mavericks. Leonard, as stone-faced as ever, didn’t appear concerned. Turns out, there was a good reason for that.
Leonard and company sauntered onto the court and turned off the volume of a roaring Mavericks crowd. The former two-time Defensive Player of the Year showed off his offense that night. He dropped 45 points on 72% from the field and shot over 55% from the 3-point line while leading them to victory.
This game, above all others, was Leonard’s best hour in a Clippers jersey.
