Ranking Kawhi Leonard’s best playoff games as a Clipper
Date: 5/30/2021
Stats: 29 points, 10 rebounds, 73.3 fg%, 66.7 3p%
After losing the first two games of the series against the Dallas Mavericks on their home court, Kawhi Leonard knew that he owed Clipper Nation a big-time performance. During their first round showdown in 2021, Leonard had a number of them but Game 4 sticks out to us in a major way.
Leonard placed his gargantuan index finger towards his lips and hushed the crowd by dropping 29 points and crashing the glass for 10 boards. It was as though Leonard was playing by himself out there. He wrapped up the Clippers’ 18-point victory by shooting 73.3% from the field and 66.7% from the 3-point line. Most importantly, Leonard made sure that the Mavericks didn’t send them home packing, getting rid of them in seven games.
