The Los Angeles Clippers have been without their two best players for much of this season. While Kawhi Leonard has been out all year rehabbing a torn ACL he suffered in last year’s NBA Playoffs, Paul George has only suited up for 26 games this season.

Despite all of this, the Clippers have battled to a 30-31 record in a tough Western Conference and currently sit in the No. 8 seed. While the Clippers don’t exactly seem like a championship roster now, when fully healthy they sure do. And when you add in the Norm Powell acquisition and injury, things get even more enticing looking at their odds to win the NBA Finals on WynnBET, currently at +7500.

Clippers Odds to Win NBA Finals

The potential value in this bet is banking on all of these players, or at least a couple of them returning by the playoffs, as long as Los Angeles can sneak its way in. The team was in a great position to make a run at a title last season prior to Kawhi’s injury and with the addition of Powell, this team becomes that much scarier when healthy.

Powell’s injury has seen an average of 19 games missed over the last 15 or so seasons in the NBA, which would mean Powell should be back right before the playoffs or for the start of them. George, on the other hand, is having an MRI this week to determine how his rehab is going, but if things come out positive, he could be back on the court before the end of the regular season as well.

Lastly, that leaves Kawhi, who the team seems least optimistic about, but are also non-committal in terms of ruling him out for the playoffs. An ACL tear is generally a 12-month expected recovery time, which would obviously put his timetable for return into the playoffs, but if he’s able to get back even a few weeks early, this team could become really dangerous and their odds would skyrocket.

Every bet involves risk, but in terms of potential upside, there might not be a better value on the board right now to win the NBA Finals.
