LA Clippers: Terance Mann and Luka Doncic renew long-standing beef

Terance Mann and Luka Doncic‘s beef goes way back in this LA Clippers–Dallas Mavericks new rivalry.

It started when the two of them almost went at it in the 2019 preseason, it was re-ignited in the 2021 playoffs, and now it came right back alive on Tuesday.

It started with Luka backing Mann down in the paint, and converting a successful bucket down low. Doncic then shouted out that Mann is “f—— too small” to Mann, and he got a technical for it.

Doncic and Mann went back and forth when the technical was called, and even continued to exchange words as the technical free throw was shot.

Terance Mann and Luka Doncic’s beef being sparked up again was one of the most entertaining parts of a very entertaining game between the LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks.

Unfortunately, Clip City ended up losing against Dallas in that game. It was hard-fought, and there will be many more exhilarating chapters in this Clips-Mavs rivalry that very well may feature more beef from Luka and Mann. The fans certainly loved to see Luka’s team face consequences for his involvement:

The beef’s a bit random, but certainly always active. A lot of guards in this league aren’t going to like that Mann loves to pressure the ball and play aggressive on defense. Sometimes he even plays full-court D.

Many point guards in this league are going to see him as a pest in the NBA. He did have a steal in the game, and always is going to bring a high level of energy to the floor. He brought that intensity last year in the playoffs, even in the games where the Clips were getting blown out against the Mavericks.

If Mann can get in Doncic’s head, that’s a good thing for the Clippers. Doncic seems to be one of the only Mavericks that has given the Clips trouble in these last few years, but Mann has what it takes to find ways to get his head away from the game.
