After Markieff Morris was body-checked to the ground by Nikola Jokic on Monday, LA Clippers‘ two-way forward Marcus Morris Sr. came to his brother’s defense.

Marcus was not happy about the situation, and made it apparent that he’d have no issue being involved.

He wasn’t the only brother to get involved, however, as Jokic’s brothers fired back at Marcus.

Many have been suggesting that Morris re-assess the situation before trying to get involved in fighting a 6’11,” 284-lb monster in Jokic, and his brothers as well, who are famous for looking just as menacing as Jokic, and even taking interest in fighting alongside Jokic before.

Marcus Morris Sr. didn’t take the advice to not entertain fighting the three Jokic brothers.

Interestingly, Marcus Morris Sr.’s mother even got in his ear and suggested he stop talking smack on social media.

Marcus, however, eventually forgot about that advice very quickly, and started chirping back literally two minutes later.

The Jokic brothers are still not intimidated, and fired back again.

In fact, the Jokic brothers reportedly went as far as even buying tickets to the next Miami Heat-Denver Nuggets game when Markieff plays Nikola Jokic again.

This situation has become insane, and Morris even addressed one of the most popular NBA talking heads about this. FS1’s Shannon Sharpe said he has no problem whatsoever with what Jokic did, and Morris expressed his frustration with that take.

It’s yet to be seen if the Jokic brothers will be attending the Clippers-Nuggets game on December 26th, but I wouldn’t put it past them. They are clearly very willing to retaliate on Marcus for his defense of Markieff, and seem to always appear interested in fighting alongside their brother, even on Monday when this whole situation popped off.

It’s always important to stick up for oneself, and that’s what the Morris brothers are doing. It appears they may have picked the wrong fight, however, from the start.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out regardless of if something escalates, whether it is in the Morris brothers’ favor or the Jokic brothers’ favor.
