The LA Clippers are going to be going up against a solid Charlotte Hornets squad tomorrow, who’s oozing in talent these days.

The Hornets are a young team that’s got a good shot at really coming around and competing in the Eastern Conference this year. The Clippers don’t play them very often this year, of course, but they’ve got them tomorrow.

The Hornets have a talented roster in general, but have a couple young guys who are really shining in particular these days. The Clips could have their hands full.

LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges have made outstanding progress this season, and will challenge the LA Clippers.

The LA Clippers can handle LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges, but they’re most likely going to present a tough challenge for Clip City.

Bridges is a guy who can be counted on to go out and put up 20 in any given night. In fact, he put up 32 at Golden State on Wednesday. Averaging 24.1 points per game, Bridges has also played well defensively, averaging 1.8 steals per contest (all stats are as of what they were as the Hornets were entering their last game).

He’s taking close to eight threes per game on average (as primarily a power forward) and he’s nailing 37.1% of them. He has a good field goal percentage at 48.2%, and can rebound too (eight boards per game). He sounds like a guy the Clippers could use.

He’s working really well with his star teammate LaMelo Ball, who is becoming just that nowadays. He’s turning into a star in this league who can compete with anyone.

His stat line speaks for itself. He’s averaging 19.4 points per game, 6.3 assists per game, six rebounds per game, and 1.9 steals per game. He’s shooting 40% from three and an insane 94.4% from the free throw line.

The eye test also shows how well he can facilitate that Charlotte offense, and his athleticism is off the charts. He’s quick, he’s got great handles, and he does everything well on the basketball court.

The Clippers are going to have to step up if they want to stop these two. The Clips have the more talented roster that the Hornets, but that doesn’t mean that the Hornets aren’t going to come out strong and continue to use their best weapons to their best abilities.
