The LA Clippers carry a lot of momentum into their third straight home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavs haven’t been so bad this year, entering the contest with a better winning percentage (.500) than the 1-2 Clippers.

The Clips, however, enter the game after just routing a 2020-2021 Western Conference playoff team on Monday night in the Portland Trail Blazers. They won 116-86, and forced 30 turnovers to a team who was tied for the second-least amount of turnovers per game heading into the contest.

The Cavs will be a different challenge, and the Clippers will have to bring that energy once again tonight.

Clippers vs Cavaliers Odds Tonight

The spread for this game is -8 Clippers. The money line is Cavs +300 and -400 Clippers tonight. The over/under is at 219, and it’s -110 to take either the over or the under.

Clippers Starting Lineup Tonight

The Clippers starting lineup hasn’t been released yet. Stay tuned for when it’s available!

Clippers Injury Report

Kawhi Leonard: OUT–ACL

Serge Ibaka: OUT–Back

Marcus Morris Sr.: OUT–Knee

Keon Johnson: OUT–Illness

Jason Preston: OUT–Foot

Leonard and Preston will likely be out for a significant period of time, where as Johnson, Morris, and Ibaka will likely be joining the team in the near future.

Clippers vs Cavaliers Prediction

The Clippers should get the better of the Cavaliers tonight. Cleveland has a good young team that has a shot at keeping this strong performance up (they just crushed a really good Denver team on the road).  The Clips have to be feeling confident, however, after dominating Portland and hanging with a couple of really good teams in the first two games shorthanded. They now know they can not only compete, but they can win in this league even if they’re not at full health.

Ty Lue seems to have made adjustments, and that’s never a good sign for opposing teams.
