No. 1 player on the LA Clippers roster bubble for 2021-2022: Moses Wright

The LA Clippers seem to see Moses Wright as an intriguing G-League player. Wright was a great college player who didn’t have much luck in the draft.

The 2021 ACC Player of the Year was a star at Georgia Tech, scoring 17.4 points per game as well as being an All-Defensive selection in the ACC this past year. Wright grabbed eight boards a game and averaged 1.6 blocks per contest to go along with 1.5 steals.

Despite this performance, he wasn’t a highly-touted draft prospect.

And then, he literally ended up not even getting drafted.

He played with the Pelicans in the Summer League this year, and now he was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal with the Clips. So it looks like we may just be looking at him for the G-League, but he’s got a shot to make this team.

We wouldn’t have brought him into camp if he didn’t, and he proved he can be a productive player in college.

This is a tough roster to make. I wish for the best with these three guys, but realistically know that we may not be able to take everybody.
