No. 1 way the LA Clippers can get revenge on Phoenix Suns: Get healthy

The LA Clippers were not anywhere near full strength last year against the Phoenix Suns in the WCF.

Injuries are not an excuse, so I don’t want to sound like I’m making one. Chris Paul was out for the first two games of the series for the Suns.

All I’m saying is that the Clippers will have a much better chance of being better than the Suns this year once Ibaka and Leonard get back.

I do think Ibaka will be back by the start of the season. Zubac is already good to go, but the Clippers are going to need Leonard to be the better team than the Suns next year.

They need him 100% and ready to go if they have to play the Suns in the postseason. If so, I like the Clippers’ chances.

The other players on this team are sure to progress now that Ty Lue gets another offseason and year with our guys, and we had a lot of guys such as Terance Mann and Reggie Jackson who are set to break out.

The Suns got better this offseason through good signings like Landry Shamet and JaVale McGee. The Clippers made some good moves themselves, and had a good draft.

Both rosters improved, and the Clippers have so many guys on the verge of breakouts. If Lue can continue to do a good job developing players, and we can get healthy, we’ll be the better team.
