No. 2 positional battle to keep an eye on during LA Clippers training camp: Eric Bledsoe vs. Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson will be starting this year for the LA Clippers. It’s not even up for debate.

What is up for debate, however, is where he is going to start. If Eric Bledsoe really impresses this training camp, now that he’s back in his more natural position (point guard) more regularly, we can start both.

We can have Bledsoe start at the point, and have Jackson play the two-guard. Jackson is about as good as he is at the two than he is at the one. Bledsoe, however, is much better at the one.

If Bledsoe performs really well, he may enter the starting lineup to go along with Jackson. If he plays how he did up through the 2019-2020 season where he was taking the ball up, he’ll be special and we very well might want to start both guards. If he’s not at that level, we’ll have Jackson run the point and start an extra wing to go along with him.
