The LA Clippers were the best three-point shooting team in the NBA last year.

They led the NBA in three-point percentage (41.1%), and had multiple top ten three-point shooters on their team (Marcus Morris Sr. and Luke Kennard). Morris was actually even second in basketball.

The team had nine shooters over 40% last season, and are going to be deadly from back there again. There needs to be a clear hierarchy as to who’s taking the most three-point shots, however. I trust that Ty Lue has a system in place, and will put the best guys in position to get the most looks.

No. 3: Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson had the best three-point shooting year of his career last year. That’s pretty notable, as Jackson has been a solid three-point shooter in his career.

It appeared that being on the wing was getting Jackson much more open than when he was primarily running the point.

That theory was debunked in the postseason where he went back to playing plenty of point guard and he still shot at a really high level. He shot almost 41%.

Also, Jackson proved that he can hit treys with hands in his face. Out of the 58 threes he made in the postseason, 48 were contested.

He even showed the ability to shoot over big men, Willie Cauley-Stein and Kristaps Porzingis in particular.

Jackson proved he can nail contested shots under some of the brightest lights. He deserves to get some of the most looks on the team this year.
