No. 2 new player that will thrill LA Clippers fans all season long: Brandon Boston Jr.

Brandon Boston Jr. is returning to Southern California after a one-year college career at an elite NBA factory in Kentucky.

I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Boston wasn’t all that good at Kentucky.

However, the talent is still there. One doesn’t just lose the type of talent BJ Boston had. This is the same kid who was the top shooting guard recruit in the nation just a year ago.

He was a top five recruit in the entire nation, and it wasn’t hard to see why.

I think Boston will be closer to the player he used to be now that he’s back in LA. He hails from Sierra Canyon High School, which is where he had that dominant high school career.

And yes, it was dominant. Take a look at some of his high school highlights right here:

It’s a nice fit for Boston to be back home, and I’m not giving up on him just because of one bad freshman season.

And if he’s anywhere close to what he proved he’s capable of in high school, he’ll be absolutely electric as a scorer, and will be must-see basketball for our fans.

Make sure you look out for Boston this year. He’s going to amaze you. I’m calling it right now.
