LA Clippers: 2 disadvantages, 1 advantage to trading for John Wall

No. 1 advantage for the LA Clippers to trade for John Wall: He’s still got it
A somewhat common misconception about John Wall is that he can’t play anymore, and that’s not true.
If the LA Clippers acquired John Wall, he’d likely start. The Kentucky product put up 20.6 points per game and averaged 6.9 assists per game with 1.1 steal per game just this past season.
He’s not a great three-point shooter, but really hasn’t been for most years of his career. He’s a solid shooter in general, though, and his athleticism has always helped him find ways to score.
He only played 40 games this year, but performed well in his chances. If he can average close to seven assists on the Rockets, imagine what that number could be on the Clippers.
He’d probably go back to averaging 10 per game like he used to. Wall’s had a lot of high moments in the playoffs, and the Wizards’ performance these past few years without him have proven the narrative that he was hurting the team to be false.
Wall’s performance is still very valuable in this league.
