No. 1 player who will be essential off the bench for the LA Clippers: Terance Mann
I don’t think any of us are unsure of what Terance Mann will be on offense this year.
He has a huge opportunity to be absolutely crucial on defense this year too.
With Patrick Beverley being off of our team, we need someone new to come in and pressure the ball on defense. We need a new pest.
That needs to be Mann this season. Who else would do it? Maybe Bledsoe, but I have more faith in Mann to do it because I think he’s quicker at this point in Bledsoe’s career.
Mann already proved that he can be that guy when Kawhi went down. Ty Lue challenged him to be more aggressive, and he answered. Of Mann’s eight steals in the eight playoff games without Kawhi, seven of them were off of aggressive ball pressure.
Mann is ready for it, and nobody else on the bench could do it better than him. I think Keon Johnson eventually could, but he needs to grow as a rookie.

I’m excited to watch this second team play. All three of these guys could even earn starting minutes. The bench is going to be as essential as anything this season for these Clips.
