No. 2 player ready for an increased role on the LA Clippers: Terance Mann

Terance Mann earned himself plenty of playing time through his impressive play in the postseason last year.

He was already trending up, and really stepped up with Leonard out in the playoffs. Remember when he scored 39 in Game 6 of the West Semis on 15 of 21 shooting (7 of 10 from deep)? That’s a sneak peek of what Mann can do with an increased role. Let’s also not forget that he had multiple steals on defense in that game as well.

He’s proven how efficient he can be even while taking on a big workload. He’s going to be expected to step up, and I have no doubt that he will. He’s already exceeded expectations coming out of FSU, and I’m excited to watch him continue to grow.

He’s a high energy guy, and already plays both ends of the floor. With Patrick Beverley not on the team anymore, they’ll need a high-effort defensive player who can play backcourt defense on the floor. Mann can help fill the void, and will.
