No. 1 LA Clippers player who will shock the league next season: Paul George
All the cards stack up for Paul George to have a career year for our LA Clippers.
Without Leonard, this will be PG’s team.
Not that PG plays better without Leonard; he doesn’t. But he will get the experience of dealing with this adversity, and when he does, he will get better.
And he’s going to overcome this adversity. He already did by being the number one option on the Clippers while they won the West Semis last year and even gave the Suns a competitive series in the Western Conference Finals.
PG13 averaged 26.9 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game, and 5.4 assists per game in the postseason this past year. Trolls focus on his shortcomings, but take a look at that stat line and realize what Playoff P did do in the postseason.
His confidence has to be growing, and he’s going to have so much opportunity to really stand out on box scores as well as lead this team next year.
The Clippers are going to turn heads fast next year, and it will be largely due to these three players making their mark on the season early and often.
