No. 2 LA Clippers player who will shock the league next season: Reggie Jackson
I think Reggie Jackson may have even shocked himself with his playoff performance last season for the LA Clippers.
Jackson played so well that we didn’t even know for sure that we’d be able to keep him. He’s back, and he’s going to build off of the momentum he built in the postseason.
It’s not just that he played well, but that type of performance that Jackson put up in the postseason establishes and adds more confidence.
Jackson has now averaged 17.8 points per game in two of his past three postseasons (2021 and 2019), and has shot 43.1% from deep in the last three postseasons. He’s been great in clutch moments as well, and that’s going to build confidence.
Jackson has the hot hand, and will make the league pay this upcoming season. He shot 48.4% from the field this past regular season, and improved on other areas of his game in the postseason. Look for Jackson to have a monster year.
He’s back playing the point guard position for a high majority of possessions, and looks very comfortable doing it.
