No. 2 LA Clippers player who will experience a role change in 2021: Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson will be almost exclusively at the point for the LA Clippers this year, due to the lesser depth the Clips have at the position this season.

The Clippers drafted Jason Preston, but also traded Rajon Rondo and Patrick Beverley. Jackson also really shined in his opportunities to run the point in the postseason this past year.

In the regular season, he was more of a two-guard, but that’s not going to be the plan of attack this year.

And when Leonard gets back, I really can’t see him playing the two at all.

The Clippers have so many options to be on the wing. It’s not just the big names like Leonard and Paul George. It’s also the likes of Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, Terance Mann, Luke Kennard, and now we just drafted Keon Johnson.

Jackson is just as good when he’s handling the ball, and there are plenty of other great options to hang out on the wing. Jackson is going to be a full-time point guard again.
