1 advantage the LA Clippers have over the Phoenix Suns: Depth on the wings

The LA Clippers can get revenge on the Phoenix Suns this upcoming season, and it’s partly because of their depth in their wings.

The Suns just traded for Landry Shamet, which was a move I really like, but they still don’t have the depth that the Clippers do. Here’s how many Clippers are proven impact players on the wing:

  1. Kawhi Leonard
  2. Paul George
  3. Reggie Jackson
  4. Marcus Morris Sr.
  5. Terance Mann
  6. Nicolas Batum

That’s already pretty good, right? Now, add Luke Kennard’s shooting on the wing and the prospects of who Keon Johnson will be in this league. Also, if Justise Winslow performs to his potential, he’ll be a force for the Clippers himself.

The Suns have good wings. But I don’t even think that Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, Cam Johnson, and Landry Shamet can compete with how good the Clippers are going to be at those spots next year.

It’s going to be tough for any team to compete with the Clippers next year. Despite little love from the national media, the Clippers are right in the thick of title contention, and will be proving many people wrong next year.
