LA Clippers: 3 goals for Marcus Morris Sr. next season

No. 2 goal for Marcus Morris Sr. next season: Shoot at least 47% from deep again
Marcus Morris Sr. shot 47.3% from the field this season for the LA Clippers. Interestingly, he shot 47.3% from deep as well this season.
He was lights out as far as shooting went, and he was a big part of why the Clips exceled with smaller lineups this year. He can stretch the floor and draw other big men away from the paint.
If he can do it again, similar results will be here once more. This was easily the best shooting season Morris ever had. I don’t see him slowing down, so hitting that three-point mark again shouldn’t be too tough.
With that, a good field goal percentage in general will follow, as even in a year like this where he wasn’t the best from two-point range, his three-point percentage still left the Clippers with many fruitful possessions when he was shooting.
And he’s been a very good free throw shooter since the 2013-2014 season, so I’m not worried about that. It’ll be a challenge to shoot as well as he did from three this year (he was second in all of the NBA in three-point percentage), but Morris will get it done.
