Marcus Morris Sr. had a nice year for the LA Clippers this season, and proved himself to be a great role player who could contribute to all 30 teams in this league.

While he’s become very accomplished and proven himself in what his skillset provides, he still can reach another level this upcoming year for LA.

Morris will be starting again next year, regardless of how healthy the lineup is. He’ll be a big part in our game plan, and can be even more of a game-changer if he hits these three goals for the year:

No. 3 goal for Marcus Morris Sr. next season: Grab 400 rebounds

Marcus Morris Sr. does a lot for the LA Clippers, but one area he has room for improvement is his rebounding. He averaged just 4.1 rebounds per game as the starting power forward.

In the 2018-2019 season, Morris had over 400 rebounds, and in the 2019-2020 season, Morris would have if the season wasn’t cut short (averaged five per game).

The Clippers were in the bottom half of the league in rebounds per game last year, and it’s an area where Morris can absolutely help the team get better.

He’s going to get a ton of minutes as one of the biggest Clippers on the floor, and he’s got to take advantage. I need at least five rebounds per game from Morris this year, and I of course need him to stay healthy for the year. That should get the number to 400+, and that needs to be his benchmark.
