No. 2 goal for Paul George in 2021-2022 season: Earn First-Team All-NBA recognition again

It’s been a while since Paul George has been selected as a First-Team All-NBA player. He last won that recognition in the 2018-2019 season, but he is absolutely a candidate for the recognition this season.

Again, PG has the opportunity to have the team all to himself, and be able to prove again that he can win by himself. He proved that in the playoffs last year, but national media has seemed to forget in the offseason.

Many aren’t picking the Clippers as front-runners for the West, but if Paul George has that top five player in the world performance that he once had, they’ll be changing their minds fast.

Who’s going to stop the Clippers if PG13 is playing at that level? The Clippers would have one of the best players in basketball, a clutch and high-energy point guard in Reggie Jackson, a lockdown defender and sharpshooting forward in Marcus Morris Sr., a nice center tandem of Serge Ibaka and Ivica Zubac, and another great wing in Nicolas Batum holding it down on both ends.

That starting rotation, along with what should be solid role players off the bench in Justise Winslow, Eric Bledsoe, and Terance Mann would absolutely run the league when Kawhi gets back.

This regular season is a prime opportunity for PG to get better, and a chance to play at the highest level he ever has.
