No. 2 LA Clippers lineup that Ty Lue must try this season:

PG: Eric Bledsoe

SG: Paul George

SF: Nicolas Batum

PF: Marcus Morris Sr.

C: Serge Ibaka

This lineup goes back to starting just one point guard, but it’s obviously not Jackson. Jackson is better than Bledsoe, and that’s pretty obvious to me.

However, if Bledsoe can get back to where he was in his prime, Lue might send this lineup out a little more than we expect to give Jackson a rest.

Lue shouldn’t start this lineup, unless Bledsoe really earns it. This lineup, however, has the potential to be almost as effective as it is with Jackson in it, and could be huge come playoff time.

We know the type of spark and energy Jackson provides in the playoffs. If we have the chance to conserve that for when we truly need that jolt of energy, let’s get this lineup out there and use it to give Jackson a breather if Bledsoe earns it.
