No. 1 LA Clipper that may come up in trade talks this season: Eric Bledsoe

I’m not saying the LA Clippers traded for Eric Bledsoe just to trade him away, like the Memphis Grizzlies did with Pat Bev.

I am saying, however, that I like one of our second-round draft picks this year, Jason Preston, quite a bit.

The Clippers do too, as they traded back into the draft to take him.

Preston has overcome many odds to get to where he is, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he found himself progressing and growing into an NBA point guard very quickly.

If this happens, and Bledsoe regresses again this year, then the Clips may not be very interested in keeping Bledsoe around for the bench. I’m not saying I expect Bledsoe to continue his regression he saw last year, but it’s certainly possible.

If it happens, that, along with his reputation of not being the most positive locker room guy out there could spark the Clips not being all too interested in keeping him around.

Next. 3 goals for Bledsoe. dark

Hopefully both Preston and Bledsoe shine, and hopefully the Clippers don’t need to trade anybody. If something happens, though, one of these three could be the first to go.
