No. 1 LA Clipper most affected by Eric Bledsoe trade: Reggie Jackson

Reggie Jackson will be affected by this trade from the LA Clippers, but not as much in terms of playing time.

Jackson is instead going to be affected through his overall role in lineups that include Bledsoe.

When the Clippers go small with Mann in the lineup, we know what Jackson’s role in the lineup is. We obviously haven’t seen Jackson and Bledsoe in the same lineup, however, so Jackson’s game may end up being adjusted with Bledsoe in the picture.

Maybe Jackson won’t be taking the ball up on every possession if he’s on the floor at the same time as Bledsoe. We don’t know that will be the case, but he’s going to likely spend more time on the wing with Bledsoe on the court at the same time as him than he would be with Mann on the court at the same time as him.

All in all, it’s far too early to decide whether these players will be affected for the better or for the worse. It is true, however, that this trade will have some sort of impact on many individual players on the team.
