No. 1 small ball group to use in 2021-22 for the LA Clippers:

If the LA Clippers want to use and develop Terance Mann, the lineup would look like this:

PG: Reggie Jackson

SG: Terance Mann

SF: Paul George

SF/PF: Nicolas Batum

PF: Marcus Morris Sr.

Having Mann in the lineup paid dividends for the Clips last year in the postseason when Kawhi Leonard went down.

In Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, Mann went off for 39 points on 15 of 21 shooting (7 of 10 from deep). He started two out of the eight games without Leonard in the playoffs last year.

The best option is to have him in there. He’s a built-in spark plug on defense, and as previously mentioned, he’s an efficient shooter with great scoring potential.

His energy on the court was always huge for the Clippers on defense, and he never takes any plays or defensive possessions off.

The Clippers played very well with Mann in the starting lineup during the postseason when considering the other injuries they had to their squad. It ain’t broke, so don’t fix it.

This is the best small ball lineup for the Clippers.

There are many options, however, for the Clippers to excel while playing small. The Clips will be a dangerous team this year.
