The LA Clippers are reportedly ‘enamored’ with a potential Pascal Siakam trade.

The former Most Improved Player award-winner has been in this league for five years now, and has won an NBA Championship in Toronto. He was both an All-Star and All-NBA selection in the 2019-2020 season.

It makes sense as to why Siakam would be of interest to the Clippers. I would be myself, and there are a few reasons in particular as to why it makes a ton of sense.

No. 3 reason Pascal Siakam trade will take the LA Clippers to next level: His well-rounded skillset

Pascal Siakam would bring many different attributes to the LA Clippers.

He’s a solid defensive player, who also can rebound and can play well on the offensive end.

He averaged 7.2 rebounds per game last year, which would have been tied with Ivica Zubac if he were on the Clips. The Clippers need rebouding, as they were in the bottom half of the league in rebounds per game last year.

Siakam also has averaged 22.1 points per game in these past two years, and a couple of years ago shot 35.9% from deep.

The Clippers like forwards who can shoot, and having a 6’9″ power forward who has that in his arsenal would surely have an impact on the team. Siakam absolutely would belong if the Clippers wanted to go out and trade for him.
