No. 2 bargain bin free agent worth pursuing for the LA Clippers: George Hill

George Hill could also be a nice add for the LA Clippers that wouldn’t be too inexpensive.

Hill spent time in both Oklahoma City and Philadelphia this year.

He started in Oklahoma City, but he didn’t with the 76ers.

In his 2020-2021 season, he shot really well. He shot .482/.388/.800 this season, which isn’t just impressive for an older player, but for anyone.

In 22.4 minutes per game, he averaged 0.8 steals per game. He also averaged 11.8 points per game in just 26.4 minutes per contest in OKC.

He can be efficient when he’s out there, and he has a lot of veteran experience that many teams could learn from.

The former first-round pick has been in this league for 13 years, and is routinely on playoff teams every year. That next team could be a Clippers’ squad who would be getting a fundamentally-sound player in Hill.

Hill is a quality player who’s going to cost the Clips very little. With or without re-signing Reggie Jackson, the Clippers could make use of a veteran shooter like Hill.
