The LA Clippers haven’t made a ton of moves this free agency season, but that may not necessarily be a bad thing.

All they really need to do to compete for the chip next year is re-sign their key players who were on the team last year.

With that in mind, it could also help to go after some cheaper veteran free agents that could give the Clippers some upside. The Clips don’t have much money to spend this offseason, but have some options to go after which won’t be too expensive for the franchise.

No. 3 bargain bin free agent worth pursuing for the LA Clippers: Jeff Teague

Jeff Teague would be a cheap option for the Clippers who provides a lot of good experience.

His numbers haven’t been very good since he’s been getting older, but he just acquired championship experience with the Bucks this season.

The Clippers drafted a young Jason Preston in the second round of this year’s draft, and to have a mentor like Teague could go a long way.

The Clippers aren’t exactly a young team, but everyone can learn a thing or two from the former All-Star who’s been in this league for 12 years.

Teague’s also still a great shooter, and shot a career-high 43.9% from deep this season. He’d fit right in with a Clipper team that loves three-point shooting.
