No. 2 free agent target for the LA Clippers that pairs nicely with Kawhi Leonard: Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball would fit right in on the LA Clippers, and especially with superstar Kawhi Leonard.

He’s a guy who drastically improved his jump shot to the point where he now hits on 37.8% of his shots from deep. He’s a 78.1% free throw shooter, and a 41.4% field goal shooter in general.

The Clippers like guards who are deadly from behind the arc, and Kawhi would certainly benefit. Lonzo could take attention off of Kawhi’s own three-point shot, and he’d be able to mix it in more along with that deadly Kawhi midrange game.

Also, if opposing guards are pressuring the ball more due to the Clippers having another point guard who is so effective as a three-point shooter, Lonzo’s passing can still find ways to get Leonard the ball. Lonzo is a very good passer, and has averaged 7+ assists per game twice in his career.

Lonzo’s got the full package, and knows how to handle LA, due to him playing for UCLA in college and for the Lakers early in his career.

He works on the Clippers.
