No. 1 former Patrick Beverley teammate for the LA Clippers to consider signing: Lou Williams

We all remember when Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams played together on the LA Clippers.

It of course wasn’t his first team he played with Williams on, as they were together in Houston.

The Clips should absolutely consider bringing Lou Will back. Let’s face it. The Rondo trade didn’t work out at all.

Rondo isn’t the veteran guard we needed to help in the postseason that we thought he was. Williams, however, is absolutely still a quality player.

Williams put up double-digit points last year and shot 39.9% from three. He’s never shot better from deep.

In the playoffs, he shot 43.3% from beyond the arc, which was his playoff career-high. If the Clippers can’t bring Reggie Jackson back, they could use a guy like Williams, who can play both guard positions. He brings veteran leadership to the table as well, and played in a conference championship this year too.

The Clippers have a lot going on this offseason, but should consider signing these guys due to their past chemistry with who might be the Clips’ starting point guard next year.
