No. 2 former Patrick Beverley teammate for the LA Clippers to consider signing: Dwight Howard

Patrick Beverley also played with Dwight Howard on the Rockets, and the LA Clippers should think about giving him a call.

Howard, like Ariza, is in his mid-30s (Howard is 35). But, will he cost very much?

I highly doubt it. He made $2,564,753 last year, and I don’t think he’d cost much more than that at all.

The Clippers were in the bottom half of the league in rebounds per game last year, and Howard can still rebound at a very high level.

Last season, Howard averaged 17.3 minutes per contest, and still secured 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Clippers don’t have a lot of depth at center with just one (Ivica Zubac) for sure coming back next year. The Clippers rostered two veteran centers this year, so they like those type of players. Howard is just that, and can still crash the boards when he’s in the game.
