No. 3 best home if Nicolas Batum leaves the LA Clippers this offseason: The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors may want to talk to Nicolas Batum if he wants to take his talents away from the LA Clippers this summer.

The Warriors would love to make a splash this offseason, but I don’t think they’ll have the money to. To make a long story short, there’s a strong possibility they’d have to trade one of their big three if they want to do that.

Therefore, they’ll probably approach free agency in a manner where they’ll be looking to make smaller reinforcements around the roster.

Batum would be great for Warrior depth, as he shoots a great three-ball (40.4% this year), can play three positions, and excels in small-ball lineups.

The Warriors don’t like to play with traditional bigs, so a 6’8″ Batum who can stretch the floor and force bigs out of the paint when he’s on offense is the type of player they’d like.

They likely won’t have a ton of money to spend, and I don’t think Batum is going to cost a lot. The Dubs could make this happen.
