No. 3 best new home for Serge Ibaka if he leaves the LA Clippers this offseason: The Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets might as well desperately go right after Serge Ibaka if he steps away from the LA Clippers this offseason.

The Rockets finished the season with a total of one center on their entire roster.

That center is Christian Wood, who was very good, but they need more depth.

Wood put up 21 points per game and grabbed 9.6 boards per contest. Blocking 1.2 shots per game and hitting 37.4% of his three-point attempts, he’s a complete player.

Imagine if Ibaka can come in and teach him how to be even better. One can start and the other can sit, or they can even entertain the idea of playing them both at the same time. Both guys can play the four of course.

Ibaka would provide veteran leadership to that whole squad really, as they were absolutely terrible last year, and having a veteran winner like that would be a huge help.

Ibaka and Wood would make a nice frontcourt, and the two together would help one another if they had the chance to play together.
