No. 1 best new home if Reggie Jackson leaves the LA Clippers this offseason: The New York Knicks

If Reggie Jackson isn’t with the LA Clippers next year, the New York Knicks might be the team Jackson will be playing for.

The Knicks have $72.8 million to spend this offseason, so they could pay him as much as they want.

Nobody in the league has anywhere close to that amount of cap space, and playing in Madison Square Garden is always attractive.

The Knicks like their young backcourt overall, but their piece that isn’t so young in Derrick Rose may actually not be brought back. It appears as if the Knicks and Rose mutually want to be together next year, but it could be tough depending on what money Rose is looking for.

Rose, like Jackson, played really well in the postseason and will cost a lot.

It’s possible the Knicks, however, would opt to sign Jackson due to his abilities to be an everyday starter, which Rose wasn’t until later in the playoffs for New York this year.

Either way, all four of these teams can provide Jackson with a nice home, which shows that the Clippers need to do all they can to keep Mr. June in LA this summer.
