No. 2 best new home if Reggie Jackson leaves the LA Clippers this offseason: The Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics probably want to look into swiping Reggie Jackson from the LA Clippers this offseason.

They have a glaring need at point guard now that there’s no Kemba Walker around anymore. Kemba was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

If Jackson heads to Boston, they can have Marcus Smart go back to playing the two more often, and be able to mix it up with Jackson taking the ball up as they run their offense.

There was clearly something missing with Boston when Boston didn’t have Walker around. Jackson could be a nice option who has lots of experience in the Eastern Conference.

If the Celtics were a playoff team this year, they certainly will be again if Jackson enters the fold.

Having a player who’s as proven in the postseason as Jackson will be a huge help for Boston.

The Celtics have the playmakers on the wing to be a dangerous team if they can get the right man to pull the trigger for them at the point guard position. The likes of Jayson Tatum, Smart, and Jaylen Brown would greatly benefit from being teammates with Jackson.
