No. 1 most ideal replacement for the LA Clippers if Kawhi Leonard signs elsewhere: Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is no doubt a downgrade from LA Clippers’ superstar Kawhi Leonard, but he’s the best option for the Clips to replace Kawhi that realistically has a chance to happen.

Beal is rumored to be on the trade block, but nothing serious has been revealed in that saga yet.

That being said, his name still pops up in mock trade proposals constantly. Beal was an All-NBA player this year, and is a three-time All-Star. He’s been stuck on a bad team a little bit, and has put up ridiculous numbers in each of the past two seasons.

Beal averaged 30.9 points per game, along with 5.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 4.5 rebounds in the last two years. In that span, he shot 47% from the field, and 35.1% from three.

While the Clippers don’t have any tradeable first-round picks until 2028, they do have some role players who they could maybe part ways with. Luke Kennard, Patrick Beverley, Marcus Morris Sr., Ivica Zubac, or Terance Mann are trade options.

I wouldn’t want to trade anybody, though, because I know how valuable those guys are.

It once again proves how important it is for the Clippers to bring back Kawhi this summer. Beal is a great player, and DeRozan and Oladipo can ball too. They aren’t Kawhi, however, and he needs to be priority number one this offseason.
