Arguably nobody in the entire NBA could replace LA Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard.

But if he does choose to take his talents elsewhere this offseason, they’ll need to do their best.

Their whole offseason strategy would change, and there’s no telling what the Clips’ approach would be. One thing would be for sure, though, and that’s that the Clippers would need to go out and get another body to play on the wing. While there aren’t a ton of good options in free agency and/or the trade block, the most ideal options they can find are clear.

No. 3 most ideal replacement for the LA Clippers if Kawhi Leonard signs elsewhere: Victor Oladipo

If the LA Clippers can’t bring Kawhi Leonard back, free agent Victor Oladipo will likely be someone they’ll look into.

There’s no doubt that Oladipo is a star in this league when healthy. That’s the issue, though. He’s never healthy.

This year, he played in a total of 33 games. The year before he played in just 19, and the year before that he played in only 36.

The last time ‘Dipo’ played a full season, he averaged 23.1 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game, and 2.4 steals per game.

He’s no Kawhi,  but he’s dominant as a well-rounded star on the wing when he’s on the court.

His durability is a huge concern, however, and it’s a big part of why Kawhi coming back is going to be so vital to this franchise.
