Another reason for the LA Clippers to sign Lonzo Ball: He’s very well-rounded as a point guard

If the LA Clippers sign Lonzo Ball, they’re signing a point guard that has many tools.

Lonzo not only can shoot, and score 14.6 points per game (like he did last year), but he can play good defense too.

He’s played good defense ever since he came into the league, averaging a steal and a half every game. He can rebound too, and even averaged 6.9 rebounds per game one year.

Rebounding is something the Clippers need to improve upon next year, as they were in the bottom half of the league when it came to rebounds per game this year.

Lonzo’s a solid passer, dropping 6.4 dimes per game in his career, which is actually 2.2 more per game than Jackson in his career.

Lonzo could bring a lot to the table on the Clippers. Yeah, it’s not a perfect signing, but it’s also one that will likely be easier to get done than the likes of Jackson or Kyle Lowry. Lonzo’s a player who the Clippers need to take seriously, and reportedly are.
