LA Clippers: Ranking the 7 most valuable players on today’s roster

No. 5 most valuable player on today’s LA Clippers roster: Terance Mann
Terance Mann came up huge for the LA Clippers this year, and particularly in the postseason.
After Mann’s dominant 39-point performance in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals to close out the Utah Jazz, the basketball world respected his game.
Stephen A. Smith even said that the Clippers don’t even need Kawhi Leonard moving forward because of Mann. That’s blasphemous, of course, but it’s been really cool just to see Mann getting the national respect he’s deserved all season.
In just 19.9 minutes per game this postseason, Mann averaged 7.6 points per game and shot a great 43.2% from three. He had a 51.9% shooting percentage in general, which is incredible for a wing.
An incredibly efficient player in general, he shot over 50% in the regular season too. He shot 41.8% from three in the regular season, so Clippers fans were by no means surprised about his postseason breakout.
Stepping up in his six starts with Leonard out in the postseason, he shot an exceptional 45.8% from three, and 56.1% from the field. Knowing how to step up to the occasion is something Mann has already shown, and that’s incredibly valuable to this Clipper team.
