No. 3 ideal replacement if Reggie Jackson doesn’t re-sign with the LA Clippers: Kyle Lowry
If Reggie Jackson can’t come back to the LA Clippers, what an option Kyle Lowry would be.
When Lowry and Kawhi Leonard played together, they wrecked the league together. Lowry averaged 8.7 assists per game, which was the most of his career. They won the NBA Finals that year.
Lowry had a reputation for choking in the playoffs, but got over that hump and excelled when he was paired with Leonard.
Lowry is a six-time NBA All-Star, and if it weren’t for injuries this year, he may have been selected for a seventh straight time.
I know, injuries. We’re scarred from that word after this season. Lowry isn’t an injury-prone player, however, and is too good while on the court to pass him up if Jackson isn’t an option.
He shot 39.6% from three this year, and this was a down year for him overall. He’s a great fit with the Clips.
Clippers fans won’t be thrilled if Jackson leaves, but we can still rebound and grab a viable replacement if he’s not with us next year.
