No. 2 ideal replacement if Reggie Jackson doesn’t re-sign with the LA Clippers: Derrick Rose

Like Reggie Jackson did for the LA Clippers, Derrick Rose played very well in the postseason for the New York Knicks.

Rose really re-established himself when he went back to the Knicks for the second time.

He shot 48.7% from the field and 41.1% from three, along with averaging 14.9 points per game. He dropped 4.2 dimes per game, and upped that to five in the postseason.

He averaged 19.4 points per game in the postseason, and didn’t miss a single free throw. He grabbed four boards in the playoffs, and made an unreal 47.1% of his three-point attempts.

All those playoff numbers from Rose were better than Jackson’s. Obviously, Jackson was still better than Rose in the playoffs this year, but the point is, Rose was outstanding on the stage as well.

If the Clips can’t bring back Jackson, Rose is a great option. They have a chance because he’s 32 now, and doesn’t have the spring in his legs he used to.

He’s going to get a nice contract, but it won’t be as expensive as Jackson. If we can’t keep Jackson, Rose will certainly be an option.
