No. 3 former Paul George teammate for the LA Clippers to consider signing: Jeff Teague

The LA Clippers could end up needing a point guard this year if Reggie Jackson doesn’t re-sign, and Jeff Teague was the point guard for one of the Pacers teams George was on.

That year, Teague played in and started all 82 games, and averaged 15.3 points per game, and 7.8 assists per game. He swiped 1.2 steals per game that year.

While he’s not the same player he once was, he still could provide a lot of good veteran experience. He’s playing in the NBA Finals right now, and he shot the best three-ball of his career this year. He shot 43.9% from three-point land.

He’s not the All-Star he once was, but he’s a cheap option who’s proven that he can play well with George.

Teague still provides value in this league as a 12-year vet.

All of these veteran players could provide value for the Clippers. They’re not the big-name free agents of 2021, but they should at least be looked at as options due to the low price they cost, and their experience playing with PG. With how many injuries this team faced this year, depth is going to valuable moving forward.
