No. 3 way-too-early bold prediction for 2022 season: The LA Clippers will sweep the Lakers again

The LA Clippers were obviously much better than the the Los Angeles Lakers this season.

It’s funny, because the Lakers tried to blame it on injuries. Then, the Clippers had Kawhi go down (who’s so much better than Anthony Davis, of course) and won the next two games of the second round to beat the Utah Jazz in six games.

Then, without Kawhi and Ibaka the entire series (along with Zubac out for the last two games), the Clippers took the Phoenix Suns to the same amount of games that the Lakers took them when they only had AD out for one full game and part of two others.

Clippers fans knew we were better than the Lakers, as we beat them every time we played them in the regular season.

It will happen again next year, as the Clippers are only getting much healthier. The playoffs showed how much better the Clippers are, and their roster will be getting so much better as the health of the team improves.

The Lakers dealt with injuries this year, but certainly less than the Clippers. If the Clippers could do it last year, they’ll absolutely do it again in the 2021-2022 season.

They’re going to be a much better team in general, and these three bold predictions would catapult us over the top of the Western Conference.
