No. 2 way-too-early bold prediction for 2022 season: The LA Clippers will earn the number one seed

The LA Clippers ended up getting the fourth seed this year. They obviously proved they were one of the two best teams in the West, but it doesn’t always work out to where the best and second-best team are able to get the top two seeds.

The Clips had too many injuries to get through this season as a top two seed. Next year, they won’t be the second-best team in the West, but likely the best.

As long as the Clippers can stay relatively healthy, they should be able to dominate the Western Conference in the regular season.

Ibaka, Leonard, George, Beverley, and Marcus Morris Sr. all missed consistent time in the regular season. They’re all going to be back and healthy next year, as long as they’re all re-signed.

That roster is going to be once again one of the deepest rosters in the whole league, if not the deepest roster in the whole league. The regular season is a marathon, not a sprint, and the Clippers will handle it with their lineups healthy.
