One of the biggest questions the LA Clippers have to answer this offseason: Can they replace Chauncey Billups?

The LA Clippers have had great assistant coaches recently.

Obviously their former assistant coach Ty Lue ended up turning into an elite head coach for the Clips.

Chauncey Billups also had a great reputation as an Assistant Coach for the Clippers, and will be the Head Coach of the Portland Trail Blazers next year.

That means that the LA Clippers will be down an excellent assistant coach. Hopefully they can promote from within. However they want to get it done, I trust Ty Lue to know what’s best for his staff.

It’s not something to lose sleep over, but it’s something to think about and improve upon, as coaching was one of the biggest strengths of the Clippers this year.

They don’t want to lose a step there, and will need to have it covered.

They’ll need to have all three of these areas covered, as they are seen as one of the top teams to beat in the 2021-2022 season for the entire NBA.
