No. 3 player who needs to step up if Leonard, Zubac can’t go: Terance Mann
Terance Mann didn’t have his best game in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals with Leonard and Zubac out.
Scoring four points in 26 minutes, he only made two shots out of eight, and missed both three-pointers.
Even with a small lineup, Mann should chip in more than just the two assists he passed out on Monday night.
Mann is a good player, but he could be better than what he’s been in this series.
He’s averaged nine points and 1.2 assists in the series so far. Mann has never necessarily been a guy who has raised eyebrows while reading a stat sheet (except for that magical Game 6 vs. Utah). That being said, he can still certainly be better than what he’s been in this series.
The Clippers are going to need it if they want to snatch Game 6.
It’ll take a team effort for sure, but these three are going to be particularly crucial in getting a positive outcome to come out of this game for the Clippers.
If Kawhi and Zubac don’t play, the Clippers will be shorthanded, but they never run out of fight.
